Helping our Communities Thrive

The pandemic created challenges for many organizations, but for charities and community organizations, it has really been difficult. A lot of activities are geared to group settings and a sense of community is often fostered by the efforts of a collective of community members pulling together through events or activities. 

Dowler-Karn continued to do its part in giving back, supporting a number of initiatives during the pandemic. We focused on providing needed resources to assist those requiring timely help. With a series of donations to many of our local food banks and shelters, it was seen as a way to help those further impacted by the challenges of shutdowns. 

As a company, we are proud of our history of giving. But more so, we are proud of our employees and customers, many of whom give of their time, talents, and resources to give back to their communities. We applaud them and encourage others to consider the benefits of volunteerism. Giving of yourself is beneficial to you and your community, and it’s a great way to promote change and positivity in our world. The essence of connecting with others provides opportunities for self-growth and fulfillment whether it is a few hours per month or a weekly endeavour.
