Direct Payments

Internet/telephone banking:

A convenient option to pay your monthly statement. Setting up an account through internet, or telephone banking allows the funds to be transferred to your Dowler-Karn account, without the need for cheques and stamps.


If mailing payment each month is more comfortable for you, this is completely acceptable. Simply mail us a cheque, along with your remittance stub, addressed to:

If you prefer to pay in cash, you can visit any of our locations, where debit machines are available for your convenience. Cash payments can be made at any of our branch locations. Dowler-Karn does not accept e-transfers.

Dowler-Karn proudly promotes safety within the workplace. Our employees do not carry or accept cash payments in the field.

If you prefer to pay by debit or cash, please visit any one of our Southwestern Ontario branches.

Credit cards:

Dowler-Karn accepts both Visa and MasterCard credit cards for payment on account. Call us with your credit card number and your account number and we’ll process your payment.

My Account – Online Portal

The “My Account” online customer portal is a secure tool to help you optimize your spending on fuels, along with allowing direct credit card payments.

The “My Account” portal allows you to view and print your delivery and usage histories for any of your personal requirements.

It is fast, easy and efficient. For your initial sign in you must know your customer number. Please refer to your statement for you account number, or contact your local branch.

Automatic Payments

Automatic Bank Withdrawal:

A convenient payment method which automatically withdraws your statement balance on the 21st of the following month.

Pre-Approved Budget Payment:

Allows for direct withdrawal of the budget payment each month without having to provide post dated cheques.

Equal Payment Plan:

Fuel purchases during the heating season are paid over the period of September to June with post dated cheques. Budget amounts are based on the usage history for your property.

Paperless Billing

Would you prefer to go paperless and have your bills sent to your email?

    1. By using the Dowler-Karn paperless bill service, you accept that you will no longer receive a paper bill.
    2. Once you have applied for the paperless bill service, an email will be sent to you with an attached PDF file of your billing.
    3. You must have a valid e-mail address to use the paperless bill service. You must provide us with the correct and currently valid address of the email account to which you would like your bill to be sent. The accuracy of the email address is entirely your responsibility and in particular, but without limitation, should that email account ever become invalid or should you wish your bill to be sent to a different account it shall be your responsibility to notify us. You shall remain fully liable for any bills which have been sent to your previous email address.
    4. Dowler-Karn reserve the right to refuse use of the paperless service to anyone for any reason whatsoever in its absolute discretion. Further, we reserve the right to modify or discontinue (permanently or temporarily) the paperless service to you at our discretion.
    5. All bills sent to you by email are payable to Dowler-Karn and are due payable on the “payable by date” of each bill. You shall remain fully responsible and liable to pay any bills emailed to the email address you have specified regardless of whether or not you access that email account and read the relevant attachment, are disconnected from your email account for any reason or fail to read the email, or for any other reason
    6. If you do not pay your bills on time, Dowler-Karn may issue reminders and legal proceedings may be pursued. Any reminders, solicitors/legal letters will be sent via the postal system.
    7. If you wish to cancel the paperless bill service, you should notify your local branch immediately. We will cancel your paperless bill within 5 working days of such notification and after that date no further billings will be sent to you by email. However, you shall remain fully responsible for paying in full, to Dowler-Karn for any emailed billing sent to you on or before the date on which your paperless bill had been cancelled.
    8. The Dowler-Karn paperless bill service is provided free of charge.
